Dear Maarja and the list, This useful site has been mentioned on the list (in 2004, by Joel Minor and by Daniel Sokolow, in separate postings--much obliged!): www.bugmenot.com Type in the URL of the web site that requires registration, and it provides a username and registration for that site. Someone has already "signed up," so you don't have to volunteer (what I'd consider to be) private information. The site doesn't always work (there have been instances of down time in the past), but it does come back to life. Best wishes, Marcia Segal American Folklife Center Library of Congress * * * * * My opinions are my own. No, really.
