Ø       Is there any procedural or searchable information that I am overlooking that may assist my patron?

 

Perhaps the local Medical Society can help the patient to contact the purchaser of the practice, or, one of their members may know what happened to the records. As the health care industry begins to comply with new federal regulations, patients will have direct access to and copies of their records. With luck,  this abandonment of  records will occur less often.
