A student, who is graduating this May, is seeking short term employment as a project archivist or a research assistant before she enters graduate school. She is interested in either this summer or next academic year. She prefers working with any institution east of the Mississippi, but will consider all offers. She has significant experience working with original documents, helping with research, or pursuing her own original research. While at Georgetown College, she * Assisted our Elizabethan scholar with the research and editing of an edition of writings of Queen Elizabeth I and with the Bibliography and First Line Index of Elizabethan Verse; * won two awards for research in English literature here at Georgetown College; * presented two of original research papers at academic conferences--the National Undergraduate Literature Conference and the Kentucky Philological Association Annual Conference. The one delivered at the KPA was nominated for publication; * studied Anglo -Saxon Literature at Regent's Park College, University of Oxford. She honed her research skills there by completing eight weeks of individual research in literature in a foreign language unfamiliar to her; and * Has a major in English literature and a minor in history. Can you help with any possibilities? Yours truly, Glen Taul Glen Edward Taul, Ph.D. Director Office of International Programs/Archives Georgetown College 400 E.
