We had a panel discussion on this issue at the LA SAA meeting in 2003
and a related one in 2004 in Boston. The first one was taped the second
one was not.

"Cultural Sensitivity and Intellectual Property in Anthropological
Papers: Ethics and Access," at the 67th Annual Meeting of the Society of
American Archivists, August 17-24, 2003.

"The Law and Ethics When Dealing with the Records of Indigenous
Peoples," at the 68th Annual Meeting of the Society of American
Archivists, August 2-8, 2004.
