Dear Andy, Because blueprints are highly sensitive to light, if you'd like to put one of these on long-term display, you might consider exhibiting a copy. A professional print shop with a wide scanner that pulls the print across a flat bed should be able to produce a good quality reproduction. The best way to protect the original during this process is to encapsulate it in a mylar sleeve to avoid stress on the paper. I also recommend that you take the record to the printer yourself and supervise its manipulation to ensure that it is being handled carefully, or entrust this important task to a trusted colleague. All best, Megan Spriggs _________________________________________ Megan Spriggs, M.Arch Montréal (Québec) Canada A posting from the Archives & Archivists LISTSERV List sponsored by the Society of American Archivists, www.archivists.org.
