The most interesting thing about the demise of the college yearbook is the development angle.  Alumni and foundation personnel, traditionally having spent a great deal of their efforts lining up well-heeled folks from past graduating classes to attend homecomings and reunions, will have to figure out how to reach out to graduates with absolutely no sense of “class” identification.
