The Archival and Records Management Services Division of the Library of Virginia is seeking an experienced State Records Archivist. This position will be responsible for processing, analyzing, describing, cataloging, and preserving archival state records collections in order to promote universal patron access to the documentary heritage of the Commonwealth and its citizens. Daily responsibilities include ensuring the proper identification, arrangement, description, and conservation of permanent state government records using acceptable professional standards to ensure the effective use of these records by the patrons of The Library of Virginia.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for educational requirements.
