The Professional Development Committee is disappointed to announce that, due to scheduling conflicts for the instructors, “Exhibits: From Blah to Bodacious II” has been cancelled. The workshop had been scheduled as part of the pre-conference program for the SSA Annual Meeting in El Paso.

  

The second half-day workshop, “Disaster Planning for Dummies,” to be taught by Toby Murray, will take place as scheduled on Thursday, May 25, from 2-5pm. Please note that the focus of the workshop will be disaster planning rather than disaster recovery. Registration is $30 for SSA members, $35 for non-members, and $25 for students. We hope to see you at this informative workshop on an important topic.

                                       

Lastly, regarding the SAA workshop, Basic Electronic Records, scheduled for May 25 in El Paso:  Early registration fees are $185 for SAA Members and $235 for Non Members (on or before 4/25/2006). SSA members will receive a $25 discount off the non-member rate by entering "SSABER05" in the promotional code space on the online registration form.
