Are you considering attending the ACA Conference in St. John’s, NL, from June 28 to July 1, 2006?  Here are three important items of information which may assist with your decision.

 

a.                   The preliminary 2006 conference program is ready, just a few finishing touches on the layout, and is being posted to the web site in the next day or two; please visit the site later this week, http://www.archivists.ca/conference/program.aspx to view this document

 

b.                   Three pre-conference workshops on the topics of i) legal aspects, ii) virtual exhibits and iii) CCA awareness kit are being offered, June 26 & 27.  Please visit the web site at http://www.archivists.ca/conference/prog_highlights.aspx for the workshop descriptions and at http://www.archivists.ca/conference/prog_speakers.aspx for the registration form; the registration deadline is April 30^th.

 

c.                   The 2006 Institute information and registration form are available at http://www.archivists.ca/prodev/aca_institute.aspx while the registration deadline is April 30^th.

 

Please contact the ACA office to register for these events and with any questions.  The Early Bird registration deadline for ACA 2006 is April 30^th and pre-registration closes on May 19^th.  For anyone with funds available to March 31/06, please let us know if you need an invoice or registration processed this week.
