The Pampered Chef's Corporate Archives has an exciting opportunity for a
talented individual to serve in a 12 week internship.  The Pampered
Chef(r) is the premier direct seller of essential kitchen tools and part
of the Berkshire Hathaway family of businesses.

Responsibilities:

1.       Intern will complete a 12 week internship (June-August 2006),
reporting to the Global Information Manager.

2.       Assist with professional practices governing the definition,
retention, and disposition of active records at The Pampered Chef(r).

3.       Inventory and implement final disposition of inactive records
stored in off-site storage.

4.       Process corporate archives assets, including artifacts, images
and records.

Qualifications:

1.       Graduate coursework in a master's degree program, either in
Library Science (ALA-accredited) or in history with a concentration in
archival studies.

2.       Experience in an archives or records management environment.

3.       Experience with Microsoft Access or other relational databases.

4.       Must be able to lift and carry 40-lb cartons.

5.       Strong oral and written communication, organizational and
interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

1.       $15.00 an hour.
