Kim's idea of creating
a bibliography of the author's publications is a good idea. But unless you institution has the
original issues of the journals in which the articles appear to give to any
researcher for use, then you might want to keep the photocopies of the articles
for researcher use. Call it a
collection of photocopies and make sure the copyright rules pertaining to its
use are spelled out on the finding aid, in the MARC record, and in the
collection itself. You have a
collection of materials that would take many hours to duplicate if a researcher
waned to, say, look at the published writings of this person. With what you have now, they can all be
viewed at the same time.
I would also try to
secure as many original issues in which the articles appeared. When you secure one, then you can
discard the photocopy.
