I checked it out and was given a pre-printed sheet of tag board with my school photo from each year, 1st grade to 12th, pasted to it. I recognized the handwriting that filled in the blanks at the top of the form as being Mrs. Fulner's, my first grade teacher. Don't know if this was the so-called permanent record or just a portion of it, but it was kinda cool to have that one item. I would've imagined your grades would be part of the file too, but I think they had automated that by the time I graduated so maybe not.
