PLEASE EXCUSE THE CROSS-POSTINGS:

The Sporting News has announced that the company will move its St. Louis
offices, effective May 15. We will be relocating from 10176 Corporate
Square Drive in suburban St. Louis to 14500 South Outer Forty Road, also
in suburban St. Louis.

As a result of this move, the Sporting News Research Center has closed.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate researchers from
outside the company because of the configuration of the new office. We
will also lose some of our ability to answer queries by mail, telephone,
or email because some of our reference material will be placed in
off-site storage.

We will continue to license our photographs, but customers will not be
able to do photographic research in person.

We regret any inconvenience this may have for you.

I am still TSN’s Senior Managing Editor for Research. I will still be
writing the "Year in Review" essay for the Baseball Guide. I will still
edit the Complete Baseball Record and Fact Book.

As a company, we will continue to publish our weekly magazine, our
guides and registers, our yearbooks and our books, and we will continue
to produce our website.

In our new offices, we will create a virtual research center. Our goal
will be to support our writers and editors by doing most of the research
they need online.

Best,

Steve Gietschier
