The New York Metropolitan Library Council (METRO) is the largest of New 
York State’s nine reference and research library resource councils.  
METRO’s Documentary Heritage Program (METRO/DHP) is part of a statewide 
program whose purpose is to identify, organize, and make available 
historical records critical to ensuring the preservation of New York’s 
heritage.  Proposals are currently being accepted to take on a 
sub-contract for a maximum of $55,000 that will begin July 1, 2006 and end 
June 30, 2007 with possible renewal for two years.
