Hi Jackie,

You might want to try The Cutting Corporation in Bethesda, Maryland.
I've worked with one or two collections that had numerous Edison disks
and Cutting Corporation did a great job of converting them to standard
audiocassettes. You can find more about them at
http://www.cuttingarchives.com/.

Subject: Question about Edison disks

Dear list members,

Has anyone ever come across sound recordings on an Edison disk? They're
from the sixties and seventies (the ones I have, anyway), red, very
flexible, grooved, and about the size of a 45 record.

And if anyone has come across them, do you know of a company I can
contact that can migrate the recordings to a modern medium?

Thanks!
