Dear Colleagues:

I am working on a bibliography of collections that contain information and records relating to an organization of Civil War Confederate Veterans called the United Confederate Veterans (UCV). It was a nationwide organization that published a magazine called the Confederate Veteran and took part in UCV reunions across the South. I am trying to find out what happened to the local, state, and national records of this organization after the last of the veterans died. We have very little for the organization here in Arkansas. There was a similar organization of Union Veterans called the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR). I have been able to locate large collections of material relating to this origination.  Thanks for your help.
