*Archivist - Michigan** *



The Winthrop Group invites submission of resumes and writing samples from
archivists having experience with archives of organizations/businesses and
with electronic records.  Position will be at the Ford Motor Company
Archives.



*Responsibilities:*

            Planning for archives' electronic records holdings

            Assisting in communication/coordination with Records Management
staff

            Processing/creation of finding aids

            Some reference and research service



*Qualifications:  *

MA or MLS with archives management certificate

2-3 years experience including work with electronic records in archives

and/or records management setting

Archives processing experience

Skills in task analysis, planning, communications

Ability to a) work as team member, b) coordinate with records

            management staff, 3) plan archiving of electronic records

* *

*Helpful:*

*            *Interest in strategic development of archives

            Willingness to assist with various archives projects as needed

            Knowledge of American business/manufacturing history
