I must attest to the attraction of the RC Cola and Moon Pie Festival...it is a great chance for antique enthusiasts to find some great treasures, and the rolling hills of the area are beautiful and worth driving through. And if you haven't tried a deep-fried moon pie, you're missing out! (the heat from the frying melts the marshmallow, resulting in a wonderful s'mores effect!)

The Fainting Goats Festival is big stuff down this way. The goats actually have some genetic or metabolic defect which causes them to keel over or something dramatic. They recover in a short time, then go about their goat thing. The anomoly may be due to  inbreeding which is a common enough occurrence down here in many species.

The RC Cola & Moon Pie Festival in  Bell Buckle, TN, is also big, probably to the delight of dentists.  If you've not tried a Moon Pie, give it a go....chocolate, strawberry, or banana coatings on a graham cracker & marshmallow pie thingy....very yummy. They taste much better than they look.

I know you'll want to scrap any other travel plans to take in these two fascinating and enlightening venues...you just see a "Hee-Haw" celebrity....

This is the most fun I've had on this list about something so silly since my fainting goats faux pas!
Have a great weekend!
