I am the records
manager for a midsized manufacturing company in Wisconsin. In addition to
managing the records of the organization I took on the role of managing
the archival collection five years ago after the 100th
anniversary.
In June the
President and CEO who has been in his position for 42 years is retiring. There
is nothing in our collection that documents the retirement of the previous
CEO. I would like to do better with this retirement but I don't know what sorts
of information should be captured and hope that this list can offer some
suggestions.
Also, the CEO is
near to preparing the contents of his office for inclusion to the archive. Are
there any references that I can provide him or his assistant that will help them
as they prepare these records for the archive?
