The Manuscript, Archives, and
Rare Book Library (MARBL) at Emory University,
in
partnership
with University
of Delaware;
the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at University of
Texas,
Austin; Washington
University in St. Louis; and Wake Forest
University,
has received a
grant from the Gladys Krieble
Delmas Foundation to support the second phase of the Irish
Literary
Collections Portal.
During the first phase of the project and with the support of
the Delmas
Foundation, Emory and Boston
College
worked together to develop the Irish Literary Collections
Portal <http://irishliterature.library.emory.edu/doc-home>. The Portal provides access to a fully
searchable
array of EAD encoded finding
aids for Irish literary manuscript collections.
During the second
phase, Emory will expand the
portal and conduct a survey to identify and add to the portal key
companion collections at
smaller repositories.
If your repository has
collections relating to Irish literature, please contact Susan Potts
