From time to time, I post notes to the List about releases of
government documents. It's a good reminder of the value of the work
you do (many of you in Federal service play a part in the initial
management of, transfer to archives, and screening for public
disclosure of records). As it happens, this week I've seen two
releases on the Vietnam War.

Further on Vietnam, the National Security Agency has just released some
additional information on the Gulf of Tonkin incident. See
http://www.nsa.gov/vietnam/

And if I may add an OT note: if you have time, also click on the links
on the top right hand of the page regarding SSG Chacon and Sgt. Pinson,
it will take you to a press release about them and the "served in
silence" memorial, etc. Drill down links take you to the list of names
on the memorial, which goes back to 1950 and is interesting for
historians to see.
