I am currently wrapping up a long collection processing project. Within
this collection we have a number of files that are restricted. I would like
to mark the files in some way that makes these restricted files stand out as
clearly off limits, something easy to see yet removable once the restriction
guidelines set them to be opened for access. I was thinking some sort of
colored clip on the folder, but fear that a regular paperclip will fall off.
There are obviously also preservation concerns associated with the material
of what is used, although if we keep it on the folder itself rather than the
object, I am somewhat less concerned with this issue.

I think just writing "Restricted" with pencil on the folder may not be
sufficient.

Does anyone have anything they use or any other thoughts?

Thanks,
