The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in
Santa Rosa, CA seeks a full-time temporary Project Assistant Archivist to
arrange, describe, digitize, preserve and re-house a variety of photography
collections. If time allows, the position may also include processing
collections of correspondence, manuscript materials, multi-media, books,
periodicals and ephemera.
Opened in 2002, the Charles M. Schulz Museum and
Research Center in Santa Rosa, CA preserves, displays and interprets the art of
Charles M. Schulz, the creator of Peanuts. The Museum is located approximately 1
hour north of San Francisco, in the heart of Sonoma County. For more

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required with
graduate level course work in Library Science, Archives Management, Museum
Studies or related field. Knowledge of archival and library principles and
practice as well as prior experience cataloging, digitizing and maintaining
collections required. Experience with PastPerfect museum software preferred.
ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS degree with archival emphasis or MA in archival
management preferred.
