The National Food Service Management Institute is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator of Archiving Services. The NFSMI's Child Nutrition Archives was established in November 2003 on the campus of The University of Mississippi. The mission of the archives is to collect, preserve, and make available to researchers collections concerning the history of federal Child Nutrition Programs. To date, we have a total of 58 personal and organizational collections; 15 finding aids to these collections have been posted on our Web site at http://www.nfsmi.org, and of course complete finding aids are available on-site. We have a robust oral history project with a total of 46 individual oral histories and 7 group discussions, and transcripts for 20 of these have been posted on the NFSMI Web site. We have a wonderful collection of photographs that we are also planning to display on the Web site.
