NHAG Spring Meeting: "An Introduction to Digital Imaging"

Please join New Hampshire Archives Group for their spring meeting on June 28, 
2006 from 9-3:00.

Morning Session is Outreach Through Technology; presenters are Gilman Shattuck 
of Hillsborough Historical Society and Susan Fischer of Historical Society of 
Amherst, NH. Learn how the curators of two local historical societies are 
making the most of their archives through their respective digitization 
projects.

Afternoon Session is "Digital Imaging Basics"; presenter is Eleta Exline, 
Digital Librarian, University of New Hampshire. Eleta will give an overview and 
digital imaging basics including equipment, simple color management techniques, 
image quality, file formats, and digitization workflow.

Lunch and membership meeting from 12:00-1:00 pm. There will be tours of 
Franklin Pierce Homestead (Routes 9 & 31) at 1:30-2:30 pm and 3:30-4:30 pm 
(limited to 15 individuals per tour).
