NISO to Review New Framework at ALA Conference

Change is the one constant. Though the saying is old, it was never more true than of today's information world. In times like now, a view from on high can provide the breadth of vision that allows you to see the shape of the landscape that is forming and to chart your course. NISO is creating the NISO Framework to provide that view so it can shape a standards program that meets the evolving needs of its member organizations and the communities they serve. The view encompasses today's information environment, the organizations that operate in that environment, and the standards that allow information exchange between and among the people who use them.

The NISO Framework committee would like to share their work with you during ALA. You have two opportunities to see this first public view of the work and to help shape the work with your perspective, questions, and comments. Now, you only need put one of these times on your calendar.
