Dear Colleagues,

I trust that RIM practitioners on this list find this information of interest and of value.

More RIM Standards and Guidelines and this time from Western Australia.

At a event held at the University Club of the University of Western Australian last Friday 16th June, Mr Mark Brogan, the Digital Records co-ordinator of the State Records Office - SRO Western Australia provided a presentation at which he released the Exposure Drafts (Part One): 1. Guidelines for Making and Managing Digital Records and SRC and 2. Standard 8- Digital Recordkeeping for comment by Western Australian Agencies covered under the WA State Records Act 2000 by 1st November 2006.

As a member of the WA Digital Records Working Group - DRWG I believe you will find the Draft Standard and Guideline of interest and also for value.

The two documents are available for download at http://www.sro.wa.gov.au/dri/rfc_src8.asp   for full details.

Go to the bottom of the webpage and click on:

Happy reading!

Regards, Laurie
