Hello:

One of the first projects I did as a new Director for a public library
in Westbrook, Maine (Warren Memorial Library) was create a Disaster
Readiness Policy and let me tell you it came in handy.

I worked for a short while for the LaPorte County Public Library,
Indiana as Manager of Main Services. They had a disaster plan policy
that needed updating and I did that in the first four months.

My previous job as Director of Library and Archives for Dyer
Library/Saco Museum Saco, Maine I created a Diaster Readiness Plan
within a year

I give workshops on this very topic to small and medium sized libraries.
Disaster Planning is very important especially in public libraries!
