Deep sea water (really! In Hawaii, sea water from deep in the ocean is being
extracted, desalinated, bottled, and sold as a mineral-rich health drink.
Some have fruit flavors; some is used as a cocktail mix with vodka. No
scientific studies yet; most sales are in Japan. Haven't tried it myself.)

As a counterpoint to all that health stuff...
Loco Moco: two hamburger patties, two scoops of white rice, all covered
with brown gravy. (I will NOT try this myself.) (And yes, for lunch wagon
and coffee shop meals, rice is taken from huge automatic rice cookers
with ice-cream scoops. Not to mention that nowhere in Hawaii would anyone
use minute-rice - only the real stuff.)

Manoges, lilikoi (passion fruit), papayas, apple bananas, poha (similar to
gooseberries).

Ono! (delicious), or as heard more commonly these days - onolicious.

Aloha from hot-but-not-awful-because-of-trade-winds Hawaii.
