How quickly the days, weeks, and months
can go by. In the time since Laura at NYPL initiated this thread----a
long, long time ago----my office has aged another year and we've eaten
yet another cake. Wanna try for two, or is this thread stretching
too thin?!!
And I hope you folks out in California
get some much needed rain to dampen those wildfires. Two of my brothers
who live in the high desert near Pioneertown got singed, but by the grace
of Thor they were not burned. Way too close. If there are any
archives in the San Bernardino and Big Bear areas, I hope they are being
tended to.
