SAA - Government Records Section newsletter now available online

Good afternoon!

The SAA - Government Records Section July newsletter is now available online for public viewing on the Society of American Archivists' website at: http://www.archivists.org/saagroups/gov/newsletters/index.asp

The 2006 SAA - NAGARA - CoSA Joint Annual Conference will be held in Washington, DC, July 30 through August 5, and this edition contains important information relative to the conference and the business meetings of the Government Records Section and the Local Government Records Roundtable.  For example, the newsletter includes brief biographical statements of the candidates nominated for terms on the Section Steering Committee for 2006 - 2008 as well as the text for proposed changes to the Section by-laws.
