Honestly, until this thread popped up, I’d never even HEARD
of the CA Exam.
I’ve hired a few people for archival work, and I doubt I
would make my choice based solely on that credential…in fact I look more
at experience than anything else. I’ve also never seen “CA needed”
on any archival position posting.
I don’t doubt its value, but at the same time it sounds
awfully stressful for something that isn’t universal. And I also don’t
believe that there is a need for it to be universal.
Whoa boy…here we go.
