Folks, Say it ain't so. Dick King - University of Arizona In reports issued this week, it was revealed that the government plans to close 26 EPA regional technical libraries. At least 15 will be closed within the next thirty days. This action, taken by the executive branch without congressional authority, has been publicly announced as a budgetary constraint. Internal documents reveal the administrations concerns are to limit access to research materials on environmental impact of administration actions, and to limit the EPA's enforcement divisions ability to prosecute corporate polluters.
