Erica and any others interested - You can access the websites for provincial (equivalent to state) archives (and many other Canadian archival institutions' sites) through http://www.archivescanada.ca/car/menu.html. I would suggest the Provincial Archives of British Columbia, the Yukon Archives and possibly the Archives of the North West Territories as the most likely Canadian sources. If your patron is speaking of the road built under the auspices of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers circa 1942 through Alberta to the Yukon (to make Canadian oil accessible through Alaska during WWII), the Yukon Archives does have information on that. Hope this is of some assistance. Cheers! Mark G. Mark Walsh, C.A. In particular, he is looking for a photo of a logo worn on a patch by the workers who built the highway. He thinks a man with the last name Pasco, perhaps first name Paul, designed the logo. This is as much information as the patron can give unfortunately. Is there someone out there who I may refer the patron to who can better assist him? I appreciate any help you can offer.
