I thought this might
be a cooling topic during this heat wave. As luck would have it, the air
conditioning at our library broke down this week. Temperatures in the library
were in the 90s. I am new to this position and am working at assessing the
collections. I discovered that I have nitrate negatives, interfiled with safety
film negatives. I need to purchase a refrigerator or freezer as soon as
possible. I'm looking for any advice on this purchase. I believe there are about
2,000, mostly 4"x5" negatives.
Any advice would be
greatly appreciated.
Thank
you.
