Now that the DC meeting is just barely behind us, do you have a great
idea for a session or a pre-conference workshop at the next Society of
American Archivists meeting? The deadline for conference and
pre-conference proposals is Monday, October 9th. Please see

This year, Sections are allowed to endorse only two
proposals. If you wish to seek endorsement from the
Description Section, please submit your proposal to me (as Chair
of the Description Section) by close of business Wednesday, September
27th and I will circulate it among the Section leadership
to review for endorsement. Please develop your proposals as
thoroughly as possible. (See Tips for Strengthening Session

Any of Description Section leadership would be happy to review proposal
drafts and provide feedback, or discuss any of your ideas as you develop
them.
