Sonny and List,
Maybe this is just a cursory way of saying that while she is out (until the 15th), she will not have access to or a means to read her emails. True, "Ich lese meine emails nicht" can mean, as her translation indicates, I do not read my emails. My German is rusty but I think that usage also can mean "I will not read my emails." Meaning I will not be able to read my emails. Given that English is a second language here, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and assuming she meant to imply "I will not" rather than "I do not."
