 “100 Years of Progress in Modern Railroading, 1833-1933,” illustrated 
pamphlet (6 ½” x 21”) Pennsylvania Railroad, 1933.  Contains a brief 
history of railroading, mentions the Pennsylvania Railroad’s Exhibit at 
the Century of Progress International Exposition in Chicago.

3 Pamphlets (3 ½” x 6 ½”) Re-enactment programs concerning the history of 
the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, 7-9 pages, 1933.  From Century of 
Progress International Exposition.

“Nevada and Vernon County Missouri: A Land of Opportunity” booklet, 
contains images of industry and farming,  issued by the Chamber of 
Commerce, 3 copies, 12 pages each, c. 1920.

South Central Missouri, particularly Mountain Grove, Missouri.  Contains 
images of farming and buildings.

“Mt. Vernon, MO.: In the Heart of Southwest Missouri’s Dairy Land” 
pamphlet (11” x 17”) c. 1950. Contains images of Mt. Vernon’s buildings, 
people and farming.

“Nevada, Missouri, U.S.A.: The Friendly City” pamphlet (11” x 17”) c. 
1960. Contains statistics and images of Nevada, Missouri.

Nevada, Missouri/Vernon County pamphlet (6 ½ x 6”) c. 1930. Contains 
information about the town/county and images of Cottey College, the State 
Hospital for the Insane and Radio Springs Park.

“150th Anniversary of the naming of the City of St. Charles (Missouri)” 
booklet (5 ½” x 8 ½”) 13 pages, 1941. Contains the history of the naming 
of the city and images of Floyd Shoemaker and Charles H. Kansteiner.

Typed description of St. Joseph, Missouri, 15 pages of pink, yellow and 
blue paper.  Contains information on points of interest, the pony express, 
Joseph Robidoux, the pony express stables, the St. Joseph museum, the pony

Missouri Pacific Lines, c. 1930. Contains map of St. Louis sites and a map 
of Missouri Pacific Lines and connections through the Mid-West and South.  

Stix-Baer E Fuller’s Historical Map of Saint Louis (11” x 14”) 1935. Map 
with sketches of historic buildings and sites. 

Map of the Oregon Trail created for the Covered Wagon Centennial by the 
Oregon Trail Memorial Association (17” x 21”) 1930.

“America’s Historical Opportunity” by Dr. Howard R. Driggs, 4 pages, 
1930.  Typed paper written for the Cover Wagon Centennial by the president 
of the Oregon Trail Memorial Association.

“What to see in St. Louis (Missouri) and How to Get There” booklet by The 
First National Bank in St. Louis (7 ½” x 3”) 19 pages, n.d. Lists points 
and places of general interest.
