Location: Byers Woods, Ashland Co. Observation date: 11/24/07 8:30-11am !4 attendees got a real treat this morning while on the walk for as we were walking the Woods Trail thru the eastside grassland a Short-eared owl flew up right along the trail and soared overhead and then over the old landfill mounds.It was the best Shorteared viewing any of us had ever had.
