Today, Black Swamp Bird Observatory Hawk counters , Barb & Dan Myers saw an Am. White Pelican at 11:30 AM fly over the Magee Marsh Observation tower at 11:30 AM flying towards the lake. Winds were light out of the SW today and brought a few raptors overhead: Red-tailed Hawk 14, Bald Eagle 2, Northern Harrier 2, Turkey Vulture 32, Sharp-shinned Hawk 2. More hawks were moving after 4:00 PM. Tomorrow looks to be a good migration day for raptors, shorebirds, and songbirds with winds out of the SW.
