Folks who are interested in seeing the marbled godwit reported by Bob Baran--thanks to Bob--at Glacier Ridge should know that all of tomorrow morning till about noon this area will be hosting a half-marathon run; while it probably won't involve the boardwalk, it will block it off, and there will be lots of spectators. There's plenty of place for the godwit to back off from all the spectacle, so if you can't get out to see it this afternoon, chances are good it'll be worth looking for tomorrow afternoon. Just avoid the area tomorrow morning.
