Hi everyone, A lighter response to the exchange of interesting notes of shorebird migration: Here in Colombia, last week I saw my first Spotted Sandpiper. Of course, I don¹t know for a fact that it is a migrant‹I don¹t really have information on resident spotties‹but my best guess is that it¹s an early migrant. In a month or so, the place where I work will see lots of them. The city of Medellín, where I just worked for a few weeks, is full of great Kiskadees and Vermillion Flycatchers‹I never thought I would wish a Vermillion Flycatcher to be another bird... Best wishes, Steve Usually in Cuyahoga County, but today in El Chocó ----- Steve Cagan, photographer [log in to unmask] 216-932-2753 (US) www.stevecagan.com www.pbase.com/stevecagan stevecagan.blogspot.com ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
