Fellow birders, Greetings. This afternoon I headed out to our local reservoir with my daughters to see what was going on. Most of the reservoir was iced over and there was a large concentration of Canada Geese (well over 100). Within that concentration of Canada Geese was a solitary Snow Goose, blue variant (pictures @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/deusvitae/4275203116/ ). Birds seen: American Black Duck (at least 1) Canada Goose (total over 200) Gadwall (?) Great Blue Heron (2) Gulls (2) Mallard (around 15) Northern Cardinal (2) Snow Goose Tufted Titmouse ELDV Ethan R.
