Yesterday I found a Pine Warbler in one of the pine groves in Winton Woods. It was near “stop 12” on the Parcours trail. It was a brightly colored male, singing his heart out. I had started the morning out at the Mt. Airy Arboretum, making brief stops at various pine stands around Cincinnati looking for Pine Warblers. After the Arboretum, I hit Spring Grove Cemetery, Winton Woods and ended at Rowe Arboretum. Winton Woods was the only spot I found one. Also had a Red-breasted Nuthatch in the same area as the warbler, in addition to your expected birds. -Mark Gilsdorf Cincinnati ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
