Three of us went, we went one the boardwalk, to the shore, driving up the roadway, then back down, and over to Ottawa ( the center) before and after, and in between the raindrops, saw; Canada Geese Gadwall Mallard Blue-winged Teal Northern Shoveler Green-winged Teal Ring-necked Duck Ruddy Duck Double-crested Cormorant Great Blue Heron Great Egret Turkey Vulture American Coot Killdeer Pectoral Sandpiper Ring-billed Gull Herring Gull Great Black-backed Gull Tern sp? Mourning Dove American Crow Purple Martin Tree Swallow Ruby-crowned Kinglet American Robin European Starling Yellow-rumped Warbler Pine Warbler Chipping Sparrow Song Sparrow Northern Cardinal Indigo Bunting Red-winged Blackbird Common Grackle Pine Siskin American Goldfinch also Carp(jumping) Muskrat Twas, me, Jessie and my compadres were Penny and Nancy! We're planning another trip soon..stay posted...nice to have the warblers coming back, too.
