I almost forgot. When I looked up at the red-tailed hawk nest, I saw one of the chicks looking back at me. -----Original Message----- From: Ohio birds [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Al La Sala Sent: Sunday, April 25, 2010 3:50 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [Ohio-birds] Lazelle Woods (Franklin County) The warblers have finally started coming through Lazelle Woods. Not a whole lot to report, though. The most numerous was the yellow-rumped warbler. A pair of yellow warblers, and several blackthroated green warblers also made an appearance. I also saw some vireos but they were unidentifiable because of the backlighting. The only other new arrivals that I saw were a brown thrasher and 20+ chipping sparrows. Yesterday I saw three palm warblers at Dublin Kiwanis. No prothonotary warblers yet.
