This afternoon - hoped to cash in on Karen Gray's Apr 12 post. Highlights: One possible pine warbler at the north end of the dam; never saw it and it could have been a chipping sparrow. Chickadees everywhere. One of the many red-breasted nuthatches was excavating a (presumed) nest hole. Two counter-singing winter wrens and several golden-crowned kinglets in the big spruce grove.
