It may be worth checking to see if 'Polish Vodka' is a drink - from recall of a lost night when a art school 'rebel' may be marketed as Polish white Spirit' not- White Spirit as in the turpentine substitute but  as a over proof form of 'vodka'

 

All I recall is a two day hangover in Paris accompanied by such horrendous symptom's that made me decide never to repeat that experience ever again.

 

not sure is this little anecdote may help but hope it may elicit a few more answer's - as it may not be marketed as 'vodka'.
