Some data seems to suggest that they are in a long-term decline in Ohio, for what that's worth. I personally admire the tough little animals, and had written some thoughts about House Sparrows, and posted a few photos, on my blog last January: http://jimmccormac.blogspot.com/2011/01/house-sparrow-in-shrub.html Jim Jim McCormac Columbus, Ohio Like Nature? http://jimmccormac.blogspot.com/ Like Birds? http://www.ohiobirds.org/ -------------------------------------------------- From: "David Lewis" <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, October 25, 2011 5:23 PM To: <[log in to unmask]> Subject: [Ohio-birds] sparrow behavior > I read the other day that someone posted that they had observed House > Sparrows feeding from a suet feeder.
