Hi all, This Fall's Ohio Fair Trade Expo has as a central theme the environmental benefits of fair trade‹and that tends to mean benefits for birds, as shade-grown coffee is a big issue. They will be showing a film called "Birdsong and Coffee." I'm going to be out of the country, so I can't attend, but this is an event that should be of interest to birders, and especially those of us who are concerned about the future of these animals we care so much about‹and it¹s usually an interesting and enjoyable event. Here are the details I have: FAIR TRADE MARKETPLACE Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 Dolan Center for Science and Technology John Carroll University University Heights 9 AM to 4 PM FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC Organized by Ohio Fair Trade Best wishes, Steve Cagan Cuyahoga County -------------------------------------------- Steve Cagan, photographer [log in to unmask] www.stevecagan.com www.pbase.com/stevecagan www.stevecagan.blogspot.com 216-932-2753 (USA) ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
